What It's Like to Drive the 2026 RZ

Step inside, and you feel it immediately. The cabin is exceptionally quiet — quieter than most luxury sedans, let alone SUVs. Lexus also reduced tire noise for 2026, which sounds like a minor thing until you spend 45 minutes on I-85 in traffic and notice you arrive without the background hum of the road.

Power delivery is smooth and linear at everyday speeds. The 350e isn't slow by any stretch. But if you want the car to wake up and stay awake, the 450e and 550e are the ones to drive back to back.
